๐ ๐ October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to honor the little souls who left us too soon and acknowledge the profound loss that parents and families endure. Every story matters and every loss deserves compassion and care.
At Denver Health, we continue to strengthen the support we provide patients through bedside care, follow up calls and a re-established perinatal loss committee. Led by our perinatal loss coordinator Natasha Walker, RN, we are creating more pathways to healing, including a monthly grief support group launching in January 2026 and expanded outreach for fathers, siblings and extended family members.
๐ Our mission is to ensure that every parent who experiences loss receives ongoing care, comfort and connection for up to a year after their stay.
If you or someone you know has experienced pregnancy or infant loss, you are not alone. Denver Health is committed to providing compassionate care, resources and support. Learn more on our website: https://den.health/OBGYNresources
