Professional Case Management

Professional Case Management PCM is the nation’s premier home care provider for nuclear weapons and uranium workers. CWP is a division of PCM.

Professional Case Management (PCM) is the nation’s premier homecare provider for nuclear weapons and uranium workers. Since 2001, PCM has been the leading provider of home health services to beneficiaries under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA). Our mission is to deliver quality care to enhance patient outcomes in the privacy and comfort of their own homes. Committed to supporting nuclear weapons and uranium workers, we created Cold War Patriots (CWP), the leading community resource organization to advocate for these workers. PCM Trials is also a division of PCM, a service that provides in-home nursing services for clinical trials.

🎗️ This Month, we’re taking the time to recognize the nuclear weapons and uranium workers who faced dangerous exposures while serving our nation—often without being fully informed of the risks they carried.

Esophageal cancer is one of the illnesses covered under the Special Exposure Cohort (SEC), which means certain former workers are presumed to have been exposed to radiation at designated facilities. This status allows them to qualify for federal medical benefits and compensation under the EEOICPA program without needing to undergo radiation dose reconstruction.

If you or someone you love worked in the nuclear weapons or uranium industry, you may be eligible for benefits. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/msyf7apt

Happy National Doctors’ Day!

Today we proudly recognize the physicians whose leadership and expertise make high-quality home health care possible for the former nuclear weapons and uranium workers we serve.

Their work goes far beyond medical evaluation; they help former workers and their families navigate complex health challenges tied to years of service in America’s nuclear programs, advocate for the care they deserve, and achieve the best possible outcomes.

To every physician who collaborates with us—thank you for your commitment, compassion, and partnership. Your work truly makes a difference.

Jake comes from generations of family who worked in the mines, just as he did. He appreciates that PCM supports uranium workers who share experiences like his and that they also assist families by providing resources for family caregivers. “I can’t imagine what my health would look like today without PCM’s support."
