My vision for creating my private practice was to make a place where everyone felt they belonged. Being injured or having difficulty moving can be a very lonely and vulnerable place to be. I wanted to create a safe space for kids and young adults to feel like they are being heard, accepted, and respected. This google review by a recent client makes me feel like I've done just that. I love a vertical surface! Why you ask? Working on a vertical surface is not only great for strengthening legs, core, and shoulders, it helps to promote the development of vision, cruising skills, and wrist extension and grip development. This little one started on a vertical surface as soon as she was learning to stand and continues to use it today (now she’s 5!)
