Mission: To help children, teenagers, and adults work through life's challenges. Description: Morris County Play Therapy provides a variety of unique healing modalities for children, teenagers, and adults, including play therapy, sand tray play, therapeutic art, holistic therapies, music therapy, and traditional talk therapy. We are a team of four amazing therapists: Gabriella Campana, LCSW, CSSW, Leah Oswanski, MA, LCP, BC-MT, Sarah Small, LCSW, CSSW, and Crystal Zelman, LCSW, CCLS, RPT-S. At this time, we’re offering sessions and supervision both in-person and virtually through tele-therapy. General Information: Crystal Zelman, owner and clinician of Morris County Play Therapy, is a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, utilizing play therapy in her work with children, families and adults. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Child Life Specialist. Crystal has a passion for supporting children and adults in their journey through grief. She facilitates workshops and trainings for professionals and offers supervision towards clinical licensure and/or RPT certification. She received her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University and is currently a Part-Time Lecturer at Rutgers University, an Usui Reiki Master, Children's Yoga Teacher, and Certified Yoga Instructor.
Gabriella Campana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, and clinician at Morris County Play Therapy. Gabriella works with children, adolescents, and families utilizing clinical methods tailored to meet their individual and group needs. Gabriella has experience working with individuals who experience Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders, Anxiety, and Depression. She has a passion for helping children and families navigate their school environment, advocating to appropriately meet students’ needs, and coaching parents in working together with their school district through educational consultations.
Sarah Small is a licensed clinical social worker, certified school social worker, and clinician at Morris County Play Therapy. Sarah has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Using both non-directive and directive play therapy, creative arts, behavioral interventions, and a lot of laughter in her work with clients, Sarah creates an environment where each person can draw on their own strengths and inner wisdom to make positive changes. Sarah has worked extensively in urban school settings and has experience working with children who have experienced trauma, have learning disabilities and who display difficult behaviors.
Leah Oswanski is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and board certified music therapist (MT-BC), with over 18 years of experience supporting people through creative therapies as well as traditional psychotherapy. She has extensive training and experience in the areas of oncology, LGBTQ+ issues, grief, and stress reduction techniques. Leah has a passion for working with clients around transitions, grief, loss, fear, and change. Leah’s specialty areas include grief, chronic illness, coming out- LGBTQ+, coping skills, depression, divorce, life transitions, self esteem, stress, women's issues, mood disorders with adolescents, adults and older adults. Leah offers support through both individual and family work with a variety of mediums, including creative arts therapy, existential therapy, feminist work, humanistic work, integrative therapy, and music therapy. Leah also provides supervision for clinicians seeking their LPC in the state of NJ, as well as virtual and in-person supervision for board-certified music therapists.
