You can take small steps on your own every day. Ask yourself, "What's the worst thing that can happen?" Then ask yourself how likely that actually is. You may feel embarrassed but also accomplished. Repeat those small steps frequently and consistently. Your brain will learn that there are no catastrophic consequences.
