Mental health is an important part of overall health. Taking time to care for your mind can help improve sleep, relationships, energy, and physical well-being.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, our care teams encourage everyone to check in with themselves, practice self-care, and reach out for support when needed. Talking openly about mental health helps reduce stigma and strengthens our communities.

May is Osteoporosis Awareness Month - Bone health is something many people do not think about until a fracture occurs.

An estimated 10 million Americans live with osteoporosis, a condition that weakens bones and increases the risk of injury. Regular exercise, a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, and routine screenings can help protect bone health.

Our care teams encourage adults, especially older adults, to talk with their provider about bone density testing and ways to reduce fall risk.

A hospital experience is shaped by more than medical care. It is also shaped by kindness, compassion, and the small moments that make patients feel supported.

During Patient Experience Week, we recognize the teams across Saint Clare's Health, who help make care more personal and meaningful. From nurses and physicians to support staff and volunteers, every interaction helps create a healing environment for our patients and families.

We are also grateful for the patients and families who trust us during important moments in their lives.

If you have had a positive experience with a member of our team, we would love to hear about it. Share your story in the comments.

Administrative professionals support patients, families, and care teams every day by coordinating schedules, managing important details, and ensuring operations stay organized. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across the entire hospital.

Yesterday, we celebrated the administrative professionals who help make compassionate care possible.

Help us recognize them by sharing a thank-you message below.

Volunteers bring warmth, kindness, and compassion into hospitals every day.

Across the country, millions of volunteers give their time to support patients, families, and healthcare teams. In hospitals, their presence can make a meaningful difference by offering comfort, guidance, and a friendly face when it matters most.

This National Volunteer Month, we celebrate the individuals who generously share their time and energy to serve our community.

If you know one of our volunteers or have been helped by one during a visit, share a message of appreciation in the comments.

Behind every diagnosis and treatment plan is a team working carefully behind the scenes.

Medical laboratory professionals play a critical role in patient care. In fact, about 70% of medical decisions rely on laboratory testing. These dedicated professionals ensure every test is accurate, timely, and reliable so physicians can provide the best care possible.

During Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, we recognize the Saint Clare's Health Laboratory experts who help our care teams see what cannot be seen.

Help us celebrate our laboratory teams by leaving a message of appreciation in the comments.

Health begins long before someone enters a hospital.

Public health efforts help protect communities every day through education, prevention, vaccinations, and programs that support healthier lifestyles. These efforts play an important role in keeping families safe and reducing the risk of disease.

During National Public Health Week, we recognize the professionals and organizations working to strengthen community health and expand access to care.

What steps do you take to support your health and well-being? Share in the comments and encourage others in our community to do the same.
