Label reading is so important. Especially when baking treats. Why go to all the effort to make something from scratch like your Grandma used to make, but have it fall flat in wholesome nutrition like processed packaged baked goods? Unfortunately, this happens when we don’t know how to read labels and understand the nuances of manufactured packaging. 🙏🏼 I wish buying ingredients wasn’t so complicated but we currently live in an overly complicated food world. Not to worry! It’s easy to learn. Below is a post about flour so you 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 can make, bake and cook goodies that won’t cause inflammation do to synthetic fillers. 🏆 Best to use unrefined organic ingredients.

🇺🇸🕊️ Honoring the memory of a dear friend who passed this year, at 92, Dave Cruickshank 1932 - 2024. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a true patriot. I do miss him, his stories, our deep conversations about the world, relationships, family, food and how to stay healthy. He was a good friend who was also a patient. For almost a decade, Dave would come in for his weekly “tune ups” and often said, “the acupuncture keeps me going”. He never complained; he rolled with the punches of an aging body; but his mind was sharp until the end; always a joy listening to the stories of his youth abroad while serving in the navy and his life in NJ. God Bless Dave and God Bless All the Men and Women who served our country 🇺🇸❤️🕊️. With deep gratitude and respect, we honor you all. 🇺🇸🕊️❤️
