We hope everyone is safe and warm! While you are out shoveling keep in mind the safety of your back. Remember to lift with your knees and not to bend with your back, take breaks as needed and stretch!! Hopefully we will be in the office soon so you can come in and get your back adjusted from all the shoveling! Enjoy the beautiful snow day ❄️

With fall in full force, leaves are falling! With a lot of people raking leaves we want to help keep your back up to par! Here are a couple tips when you are raking leaves!

1. Drink lots of water!!
2. Take breaks as needed
3. Use the correct rake
4. Switch hands
5. Wear supportive shoes

I am enjoying my third year practicing with Lancaster Depew Chiropractic. Aside from traditional, diversified Chiropractic adjusting, I specialize in a variety of treatment options including instrument adjusting, taping, ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation therapy, low-level laser therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. I also am certified in the Webster technique, which is a specific Chiropractic analysis and adjustment protocol performed to optimize pelvic function throughout pregnancy. I am a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the New York State Chiropractic Association, where I serve as the District 17 Vice President. On my off days from LDC I enjoy teaching and am an Adjunct Professor at Bryant & Stratton College. I also am an avid gardener, and while I'm sad the days are getting colder and my favorite season has come to an end, I am enjoying all things spooky and looking forward to my favorite holiday, Halloween.
