• reduce metabolic efficiency
• contribute to fatigue, brain fog, and low motivation

You don’t need to eliminate everything to support your thyroid.

But some foods—especially in excess or in certain forms—can interfere with:

• thyroid hormone production
• conversion of T4 to T3
• inflammation levels
• immune function

This doesn’t mean these foods are “bad.”

It means context matters.

For example:

• gluten may be more problematic in autoimmune thyroid conditions
• soy may impact hormone production in large or processed forms
• raw cruciferous vegetables are generally healthy—but large amounts daily (like in smoothies) may not be ideal
• processed sugar and seed oils can increase inflammation and disrupt metabolism

The goal is not restriction.

It’s awareness and balance.
