Farrah Merz is the Administrator at Westview of Derby. At 48 years young, she is part of a wonderful family of three that keeps her grounded and inspired each day.

Farrah brings a diverse and well-rounded background to her role. Prior to becoming an Administrator, she spent 12 years in Property Management, 10 years in Aviation Management, and 10 years as a CNA serving in long-term care, skilled nursing, and hospice settings. She earned her degree in Business Administration from Fort Hays State University. While returning to college and working in healthcare, Farrah discovered her deep passion for the geriatric community, which led her to pursue licensure as a Long-Term Care Administrator (LHCA). She completed a year-long internship with Tutera under the guidance of preceptor Rodney Close through the KHCA AIT program at Meridian Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Her leadership style is rooted in integrity, growth, and teamwork. Farrah is passionate about fostering a community where residents, families, and staff feel genuinely connected. Her goal is to create a caring, loving, compassionate, and business-minded environmentā€”one that is deeply involved in the community and truly feels like home for both residents and staff, where everyone can thrive together.

Farrah looks forward to continuing to build strong, healthy relationships within the Derby community. Westview of Derby will be welcoming the community through upcoming events and celebrations, inviting neighbors to connect with residents, families, and staff. Special thanks to our wonderful housekeeping team members for serving and helping make the day run smoothly.
