I wanted to introduce Dr. Heather Monin to Lakeshore Chiropractic & Wellness.

Dr. Monin, a WNY native, is a 2005 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and brings with her 19+ years of clinical experience to our community.

Heather has extensive experience with treatment of acute workplace and automobile injuries and will take this experience into practice with me, beginning April 14, 2025.

Together we will continue the mission to be a small-town, and a small-feel practice that focuses on listening to you and prioritizing your needs, utilizing logic and evidence to get you well as quickly as possible.

Today we celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Lakeshore Chiropractic & Wellness.
June 30, 2003 – June 30, 2023
I wanted to take a brief minute to thank everyone who has helped this practice achieve the longevity of 20 years and still going stronger than ever.
This includes my family and friends that have helped along the way, including the late Ray Gress who loaned me the initial startup money for the business after every bank laughed at the thought of “just another Chiropractic office”.
I have had 4 former employees and 2 current ones, all of them have provided a kind voice and have shared in my mission to provide consistent quality and compassionate care. How many healthcare offices actually answer their telephone anymore?
A special thank you to Dr. Joe Schwartzott for joining the practice 3 years ago, the community and I are lucky to have you in Evans.
I reflect on my years in Evans and all the wonderful people I have met and continue to meet. I truly believe you all give more to me than I can ever give back to you.
When you own a business in the service industry especially in health care you really are not your own boss. Every individual that chooses to come in your doors is your boss. Considering this, I have the best employer. Thank you!
OK so now I can officially share the worst kept secret in my practice.
Lakeshore Chiropractic & Wellness continues to expand. I have purchased the building addressed at
6778 Erie Road, this building is nearly 3 times the size of our current building and the remodel has begun!
Hopefully everything goes smoothly, and we are working out of there this fall.
20 years and this practice is just getting started.
Thanks for a great 20 years, look forward to many many more!

Did you know?
February and March are great times to establish care at Lakeshore Chiropractic & Wellness?
Beginning as a new patient is sometimes hard once our community wakes from our winter hibernation.
Most of our practice returns to care on an as-needed basis. And there are many "as-needed" patients returning once they begin their spring house and yard cleanup.
Get tuned up now, and prevent those return to activity flare-ups.
New and revaluation appointments are available this week, with both Dr. Smith and Dr. Schwartzott.

I wanted to use this space brag about, and thank Maureen as she heads into retirement this Friday, after 14 years of working with me (this alone is worthy of an award).
When I met and interviewed Maureen one of the questions I asked her was. “My 2 most recent employees moved on to other jobs after working for 6 months, I know that you can’t give me a guarantee, but do you plan to, at least, be here for a year?” I believe her answer was, without hesitating, … YES.
She is an individual who is true to her word.
Maureen, I really appreciate your commitment to me, my practice, and our patients. You have helped take this practice from a new endeavor to a professional office with 2 Doctors covering 50 + hours a week. Due to the expanding practice, your hard work has created 2 jobs to cover the tasks you managed.
Good luck to you in all your retirement endeavors!
We will miss you.
