🤰 Pelvic Floor PT in the 2nd Trimester — Your Body Will Thank You!

The second trimester often brings a little more energy — but it can also bring new changes to your body that affect your pelvic floor.

Think of this as your “maintenance and prep” phase — staying strong, mobile, and comfortable while getting ready for the big day (and recovery after).

💛 Every week of support now can mean a smoother journey later.

🤰 Pelvic Floor PT in the 1st Trimester? Yes, please!

Many moms-to-be think pelvic floor therapy is only for after pregnancy — but the truth is, starting early can make a HUGE difference for how you feel during pregnancy and after baby arrives.

Think of it like prenatal training for your body — so you can move, carry, and birth with more comfort and confidence.

💛 Your pelvic floor and body will thank you later.

If you know any pregnant momma's please pass the word!

“That’s just part of pregnancy… it will get better after the baby is born.”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this.

The truth?
Some things do get better postpartum — but many pelvic floor symptoms don’t magically disappear.
💧 Leaking
⚡ Pelvic pain
⚖ Pressure or heaviness
🛌 Discomfort with daily activities

You don’t have to wait it out.
You don’t have to just “live with it” until after birth.
And you definitely don’t have to accept it as your “new normal.”

With the right support — during AND after pregnancy — you can feel stronger, more comfortable, and more in control of your body.

💛 Pregnancy is a chapter, not a sentence. Let’s make it a strong one.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾 and Check out our newest foster dog, ROSIE!

Dogs aren’t just our best friends — they’re also secret pelvic floor trainers.

💡 Think about it:

Bending down to clip a leash = hip hinge or squat practice
Walking your dog = gentle core + pelvic floor endurance
Picking up after them (yep, that too) = a chance to use good squat form
Laughing at their goofy antics = the real leak test 😉
So today, give your pup an extra snuggle — and remember, those everyday movements with your dog are opportunities to support your core and pelvic floor health.

And if walking, bending, or even laughing is uncomfortable — I’m here to help you get back to enjoying every moment with your furry friend. 💛

✨ Did you know?
Studies show teletherapy often leads to quicker results — and consistency is the key.

When it’s easier to show up (no commute, no childcare scramble, no weather stress), it’s easier to stay consistent. And consistency = progress. 🙌

That’s why I offer pelvic floor physical therapy from the comfort of your own home — so you can get the care you need without adding more stress to your already full plate.

📆 Flexible scheduling
🏡 No travel required
👶 Baby can stay right with you

Let’s make healing fit your life — not the other way around.

🚶‍♀️Walking downhill or down stairs?
One small shift could make a BIG difference for your pelvic floor.

👉 Do you tend to lean back and thrust your ribs out when walking downhill or down stairs?
It might seem like no big deal, but that posture actually throws off your core canister — the way your diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor work together.

💥 When your ribs flare and you lean back, your pelvic floor has to work harder to keep up, which can lead to tension, imbalance, or even leaking.

💡Try this instead:
✅ Keep your ribs stacked over your hips
✅ Soften your knees
✅ Let your body gently lean with the hill or steps — not against it

Small changes = smarter movement = a happier pelvic floor.

Lately, I’ve been hearing the phrase “you’re a life saver” a lot… and honestly, it never gets old. 💛

Whether it’s helping a mom finally be without pain, stop leaking when she laughs, or just feel heard for the first time in a long time — I’m reminded why I do this work.

It’s not just about the pelvic floor.
It’s about restoring confidence, comfort, and you.

If you’ve been struggling in silence or thinking “this is just how it is after baby,” please know — it doesn’t have to be.

I’m here when you’re ready.
From the comfort of your home, with care that actually listens. 💻💫
