Happy Fall! I have the privilege of spending most of my work time in 1:1 visits with patients and clients or participating in corporate wellness programming so I'm not very active on socials.
But I try to post once in a while, so I just want to share this reminder:
Please remember that your value as a human being is in no way, shape, or form related to your food choices or how your body looks.
Foods are not inherently good or bad.
PEOPLE are not good or bad people if they live in certain body shapes or sizes.
PEOPLE are not good or bad people if they eat certain foods.
I know that our gross diet culture says otherwise, but this is the truth:
Food has no moral value. And WHO we ARE as humans, our contributions to our communities, our kindness and support of those around us, how we show up in our relationships and at work -- THAT is where OUR value lies!!
