It’s a little blurry because it was 3am & dim lighting 😂
But it shows a beautiful mom in transition (peaceful as can be!), a supportive husband offering honey sticks as nourishment, and the doula close by with a fan & emotional support. Such a wonderful team!
It’s been a beautiful & emotional 2.5 years of having . This practice became another child of mine! I have grown so much as a midwife, a mother, and a person while having this business. I had the privilege of serving 96 amazing families over the last few years.
As I’ve been reflecting on these families & births, the number 96 just really kept coming back to me.
Psalm 96 says
“Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day” and I just think that is really fitting for pregnancy & birth (and yes-highly recommend reading all of Psalm 96).
While is now done, I’m excited to continue homebirth & midwifery over at
I will be taking things a bit slower as we get ready to welcome our 3rd baby and I am done with births for now until after maternity leave.
I look forward to what the future holds & all the families that are to come!
