Options for success are often necessary when we don’t feel at 100%, when we’re injured, or if we tweak or pull something when we’re working out. Often times in the fitness industry I see individuals pushing themselves past their physical limits, causing further injury.

In my professional opinion outside of taking care of our body to prevent injury, when we have injuries we need to shift our mindset and know that it’s OK to take options. Options for success, don’t have to be boring and they don’t have to be easy, often options for success can be a fun way to challenge ourselves without causing further injury.

Here’s to a new year of taking options when we need and knowing that it’s OK to honor our bodies!

About me - My mission

Hey everyone!

Here is the “about me” section of my page and while I sometimes don’t enjoy talking about myself I guess I will for your sake!

My name is Kayla, some know me by K-DAWG, KD, or MOM. I had a crazy 24 years of life and I am ready to share my experiences and knowledge with the world! I believe that I have a lot to offer you and anyone who decides to check out this page. (Learn more about my life experiences in my blog – more to come)

I am married to my wonderful husband Trevor and we have a beautiful little girl. I started this page as I struggle from depression, anxiety and PTSD and decided it would be an amazing outlet to help those like me. After some major life experiences, having jobs that didn’t quite fit with my mission/purpose, and finally listening to what God had in store for my life I finally decided to pursue a career that would help those like me – I am currently on my way to getting my certification to be a Personal Trainer… I know what you are thinking… how does that help people like you? Well the truth of the matter is that many people struggle with depression/anxiety, the world can be a daunting place at times and awful things can happen, but with fitness I found LIFE. I found how to live and feel inspired to become the best version of myself. I want to help people who struggle find life again. So that’s why I decided personal training. This doesn’t mean that my talents/experiences won’t be utilized, it just means that I have a unique perception of people and the struggles that many of us face. I have big goals in this lifetime and I hope to share them with you during this journey.
