The Downtown Farmers' Market presented by UnityPoint Health returns May 2, bringing back one of Greater Des Moines’ beloved traditions.

The 2026 season will feature 305 vendors, including 75 agriculture and produce vendors connecting Market-goers directly with Iowa farmers and producers.

The Market continues to create meaningful impact across the region by:
• Supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, including 22 Spark DSM participants
• Expanding access to fresh, local food through SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks and WIC
• Welcoming hundreds of thousands of attendees each season, strengthening community connection

With more than 736,000 attendees in 2025, The Market remains a signature experience that brings people together while fueling economic growth.
