The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health is thrilled to announce our newest member, MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center!

Since its inception in 2022, the MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center has served over 700 patients with over 3,000 integrative services, which include acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage therapy, Reiki, physical therapy, nurse navigation, mental health counseling, palliative care, and more.

Membership with the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health will help MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center share research and best practices in the field of Integrative Oncology while connecting them with other institutions and Champions of Whole Health working toward the same goal.

The 2024 Members Meeting and International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health, held this past April, marked one of the most impactful events to-date for the Academic Consortium community. Hundreds of Champions of Whole Health from around the world joined us in Cleveland, Ohio, for over 190 poster presentations, 45 symposia, workshops, panels, and concurrent sessions, and 74 oral scientific abstract presentations, along with a line-up of unforgettable plenary speakers.

One of our attendees said it best: “The Congress brings together researchers, clinicians, educators and policy makers from around the world who are dedicated to transforming health care to serve people and planet.”
