A man who has time with his family has the greatest blessing of all. This week I pulled myself away from the practice in order to reconnect with my family and create memories. Rebuilding smiles brings me joy, getting to work with the BEST team is an honor, and I am so proud of the business we have built this year.

Honestly, today was full of tantrums and “hangry” moments…however seeing my kids and wife’s faces light up with joy is the greatest reward I could ever ask for. Excited to be back in the office Friday!

End of another chapter! Worked my last day at the PHC community health center in Marshalltown! 15 months flew by. I was blessed by the patients we served from all over the world and the team I had the honor to work with each day!

Goodbyes are tough.

Last week I worked my last day at the Primary Health Care clinic in Des Moines! I will still be working part-time at the Marshalltown office as we open the Newton clinic!

I had the honor of spending the morning with the team at Dental Prosthetic Services in Cedar Rapids! For years I have desired to get a “behind the scenes” look into the technology and systems of a dental lab. The DPS facility is truly top notch and their team was very welcoming! Many workflows have changed drastically since my early training and I learned a great deal. Today was one of the most inspiring mornings I have had in dentistry. I look forward to a partnership with them and providing my patients with the very best!

Another incredible day listening to Dr. Jeff Okeson who is one of the premier experts in TMJ disorders and orofacial pain. He shared fascinating content and I was humbled to hear how much has changed on the subject in the last 10 years.

In Omaha this weekend with the Academy of General Dentistry! Today we had the honor of hearing from the legend, Dr. Stanley Malamed. He literally wrote THE book on local anesthesia and management of medical emergencies in the dental office. Learning from the best so we can offer the best to our patients!
