Following an exceptional annual health inspection survey result, some members of the Accura HealthCare leadership team served breakfast to the wondeful staff at Via Health Services of Fleur Heights.

It was a great way to start everyone’s day, and thank the incredible staff for their hard work and dedication to providing exceptional care to the residents.

🌍✨ Shoutout to Our Amazing Assistant Director of Nursing! ✨🌍

We’re so proud to share that Scott, Assistant Director of Nursing, recently returned from a life-changing mission trip to Botswana! 🇧🇼💙

During his time there, Scott and his team connected with over 200–300 children in local villages—bringing joy, compassion, and care to communities in need. Truly embedding Accura's mission of "partners in care, family for life". From sharing smiles and stories to supporting basic health and wellness needs, Scott’s dedication to service went far beyond the walls of our facility.

His heart for others and commitment to making a difference is just one of the many reasons we’re grateful to have him on our team. 💪❤️

We are honored to care for some of the most wonderful mothers in the world!

Your love, strength, and endless support are the pillars of your family. We love hearing all of the stories from our ladies about how they were always there for their children, from guiding them through life's ups and downs, and for showing their children what unconditional love truly means.

As care givers, we learn so much about life and love through their stories. We are proud to be partners in care and family for life! Happy Mother's Day!

Every second Thursday of May, Keller Williams agents, leaders, and associates across the country step away from their daily business duties to give back to their communities on RED Day. This year, the Keller Williams group in Des Moines selected Via of Fleur Heights as their charity of choice, where 100 volunteers engaged with and beautified the skilled nursing community for its residents.

Via of Fleur Heights was grateful for the support of the Keller Williams volunteers and the positive impact they had on the residents. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the Keller Williams volunteers, we enjoyed chatting with them and watching them work or spending time with us as they brought in their pets, they even brought in a baby lamb for us to pet and play with, my home looks so much better and I cannot thank them enough” Resident Council President, Steven.

Hello friends and community members ,

We are reaching out on behalf of the residents who would greatly benefit from the addition of some beautiful perennials to brighten up their outdoor spaces. We are looking for donated plants that are suitable for a variety of conditions including shade, sun, and blended areas.

One of the residents' families are having their entire 100+ employees come work on projects (who can turn down free labor)!

Having a variety of plants will not only enhance the aesthetics of the nursing home's gardens but also provide a therapeutic and calming environment for the residents to enjoy.

If you have any perennials that you would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. Your generosity will make a big difference in the lives of the residents and bring some much-needed joy and beauty to their surroundings.
