We’re excited to recognize the completion of the first two Service Line Leader Onboarding Workshop sessions—another important step in building a strong foundation for deployment readiness. Just like any successful build, strong leadership helps keep the structure steady and connected. These sessions focused on equipping leaders with the knowledge, perspective, and tools needed to support end user participation, reinforce communication, and help guide teams through the deployment journey. Leaders engaged in activities intending to prepare them to serve as the bridge between leadership and end users.

Beginning in summer 2026, VA pharmacy will transition from printing medication information to using a QR code on prescription bottles for locally filled medications. This change does not apply to CMOP prescriptions.

The QR code has already been added to medication bottles. After 6–8 weeks of overlap, printed materials will be discontinued, and the QR code will become the primary method for accessing medication information. You may still request printed information at any time by contacting your local pharmacy team via phone, secure message, or during a face-to face-visit with a pharmacist.

The QR code will link you to video guides, medication guides, and other information previously included in your printed prescription paperwork. An example of the QR code link can be found here: https://health.lumistry.com/medication/UbygyxH2Fs89HiZenEzaiN
