Over the months of December and January, Health Gauge was proud to partner with IUOE Local 49 and Team Corporation to deliver comprehensive health screenings to IUOE 49 members and retirees across the region.

Reach & Impact:

✔️ 10 locals visited
✔️ 10 different cities served across Minnesota & North Dakota
✔️ 1000+ members and retirees screened
✔️ 170+ members learned they had carotid plaque before symptoms appeared
✔️ 8 aneurysms were caught early
✔️ 1 in 4 members had blood sugar levels needing follow-up
✔️ Nearly half had cholesterol results worth paying attention to

Most importantly — two-thirds of participants were returning members. That tells us one thing:
These screenings are worth it!

Health issues don’t usually come with warning signs. That’s why early detection matters.

We’re especially grateful for TEAM’s ongoing engagement with members, offering confidential advocacy, wellness support, and care coordination that help members and their families navigate healthcare with confidence. Working alongside TEAM to serve 49ers and support their overall well-being is truly an honor.

We’re excited to be back again this April to continue delivering these important services!

We’re gearing up for a full week with the Operating Engineers at IUOE Local 49!
From December 3rd–7th, Health Gauge will be onsite in Rochester and Minneapolis, providing fast and non-invasive preventive screenings for the members. Heart, vascular, thyroid, diabetes, and cancer-risk tests—right at the union hall.

As a union shop, we’re excited to support our union brothers and sisters with convenient care that puts their health first.

Proud to serve our union family this past weekend at Laborers' Local 41 in Munster, Indiana. As a union shop, Health Gauge believes prevention starts with our people right at the hall. Quick, non-invasive screenings to help members catch risks early and stay strong on and off the job.

Huge thank you to Laborers Local 41 for hosting and coordinating an outstanding even and to our Health Gauge crew for making it happen from setting up, to providing our services, and showing all members care from start to finish. You showed what union pride in action looks like!

Huge thank you to Pipefitters Local 533 for an incredible health fair this past weekend! Together we delivered multiple services (Ultrasound screenings, bloodwork, BMI), flu shots, and one-on-one wellness coaching—right where members work and organize. We loved seeing families stop by, members asking smart questions, and so many “I’m glad I got checked” moments. Health care should be easy, practical, and union-strong—this weekend proved it!
