Intended Audience:
Critical Care Nurses

Purpose:
This two-day seminar is designed to assist critical care nurses in preparing for the CCRN Adult Exam. The goal is to give comprehensive, understandable and retain-able information based on the latest CCRN Adult Exam Blue Print. This review is not an introduction to the environment of critical care, but a comprehensive update for the professional already in practice at the bedside and is preparing for the Certification Examinations.

Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this education activity, participants should be able to
• Self-report the knowledge gained to evaluate assessment and diagnostic findings related to critical care conditions.
• Self-report the knowledge gained to plan interventions to meet patient care needs.
• Practice test taking skills in preparation for the certification exam.

Continuing Education:
UnityPoint Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Nurses will receive 13.75 contact hours for attending this two day conference. Participants must attend the entire program to receive continuing education credit.
