Today is day #7 of our 21-day purification program my wife & I are kicking off the year with! No caffeine. No sugar. No processed foods. Whole foods only. Spring water to drink. Some other clients + friends have joined alongside us as well! Down 7 lbs in a week & feeling great! It feels good to not only choose to do something hard, but to also first hand experience what all of us already know…you eat better, you feel better.
The reality is with so much running last year I felt myself starting to get lazy with my eating habits. I convinced myself I could eat whatever I wanted because “I’ll just run it off”. I was wrong. I got up to almost 200 lbs, which I have only been one other time in my life. I had great excuses, but still excuses. I was busy. I needed what was convenient. At the end of the day, you can have excuses or results…but not both.
As of today I’m down to 189lbs & I’m looking forward to seeing where things go this year with the goal of fueling my body more consistently with the things it wants and needs! LET’S GOOO
