For those trying to figure out how to deal with spending a lot of time at home, or those just looking for healthy and effective ways of de-stressing, one of the best choices you can make is to engage in some sort of creative activity. Lots of strong research provides clear evidence that creative endeavors have a strong, positive impact on mood and on overall brain health. It doesn't even matter what sort of creative activity you choose. It can be drawing, writing, knitting, woodcraft, dance, learning an instrument or a new song, developing a new recipe... as long as you are doing or making something different than you have done or made before, it is good for your mood and your brain.
