June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month 💜

At our Skilled Nursing Facility, supporting brain health isn’t just a monthly theme — it’s part of our everyday mission. We see firsthand the impact memory-related conditions have on individuals and their families.

This month, we take a moment to reflect on the importance of brain health education, early intervention, and compassionate care. And most importantly, we honor the incredible team in our Memory Care Unit.

To the healthcare heroes who offer calm in confusion, comfort in uncertainty, and light through the fog — thank you. You are their gentle reminder, their guiding hand, and often their greatest source of comfort. 💜

Happy Juneteenth!
Today, our staff and residents came together to celebrate, learn, and have fun!

We explored the meaning behind Juneteenth — the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they were free.

Originally observed as Emancipation Day, Juneteenth has long been a symbol of freedom and resilience. In 2021, it was officially recognized as a federal holiday by President Joe Biden.
