“When first beginning this professional journey with Alden, I was very green eyed to the world of skilled care. Having mostly worked in the hospital, I had much to learn in regards to operations, clinical skill levels and resident populous. Thankfully, I have an amazing nurse leader, Junalyn, who has guided me and showed an abundant amount of patience as I have continued to navigate this leadership role." On top of this, "the team I work with at Des Plaines has been nothing short of amazing! We have been able to step in when needed, assist when necessary and grow every day. Alden means a lot to me, the greatest being that of appreciation and love."

We value safety first, and take pride in our awesome staff going the extra mile to ensure our residents safety! We were excited to host a vaccination clinic with Walgreens, where staff members and residents received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. We’re committed to being part of the solution to stopping the spread of the Covid-19 virus!

We made our way over to Engine 61 to deliver pizzas to the Des Plaines First Responders for lunch! As part of our Giving Back to the Communities Program, we believe it’s the least we can do to show our appreciation for all of their care and service to our facility and the community. We can’t thank them enough for all the work they do!
