🩺 This July, we recognized Amanuel Malimo, RN, with the DAISY Award for going above and beyond on our Neuro/Oncology unit at Ascension Alexian Brothers.

From managing severe pain to guiding a family through a difficult second surgery, Amanuel did more than treat symptoms—he made people feel safe, heard, and human.

Whether it was late-night check-ins or patiently explaining every step in simple, calming language, his presence brought relief during some of the hardest moments.
