Pegasus Therapeutic Riding

Pegasus Therapeutic Riding provides Equine Therapy for children and adults with special needs.

We serve children and adults of all ages with all type of disabilities at no cost to the client throughout the Coachella Valley and Riverside County. Since our beginnings, we have looked at ability rather incapacity. We believe that even the most disabled can make progress and learning is a hallmark of the Pegasus program. We constantly add and seek knowledge about all disabilities so we are able to treat the impaired with new, innovative animal-assisted therapy that emphasizes socialization and accomplishment.

We wrapped up a truly outstanding week at Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center. Our riders made incredible progress, our horses were steady partners as always, and the energy on the property was nothing short of inspiring.

A heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers—you showed up, worked hard, and reminded us why this program thrives. We couldn’t do any of this without your dedication and kindness.
