NHC was founded on heart and a commitment to our patients, and our company leadership continues to focus on all of our customers. We have not gotten where we are today by just wanting to stay the same and settling for being a "good" care provider. We want to always be learning and improving and that drive has helped us to stay at the top of our industry. Our slogan, "Caring in a better way, day by day", says that we want to always strive to reach the higher level in providing quality patient care. Happy National Bagel Day!

Today our patients rolled up their sleeves and gave bagel-making a try and what a fun (and tasty!) experience it was! From shaping their very own bagels to adding the toppings there were lots of smiles, laughs, and proud moments in the kitchen. Nothing beats the joy of trying something new and sharing it together. And of course, the best part was enjoying the delicious results!

We tried out a brand-new to us game yesterday called “Cups” — think musical chairs, but with cups lined up on the table! When “cups” was yelled after having to touch your head, nose, shoulder, elbow etc everyone raced to grab a cup… and of course there was one less cup than players 😄 Lots of laughs, quick hands, and friendly competition made this a new resident favorite. We can’t wait to play it again!

Our staff Christmas party was full of holiday cheer! We kicked things off with some Christmas karaoke, enjoyed a delicious taco bar prepared by our amazing dietary team, and had a blast playing a fun gift game.
