I want to be very clear about what this page stands for.

This is a pro breastfeeding space. It is also a pro fed, pro mom, pro whatever actually works for your family space. Those things are not in conflict.

I support mamas who exclusively breastfeed and mamas who combo feed and mamas who exclusively pump and mamas who tried everything and still needed formula and mamas who chose formula from the beginning.

What I do not support is any mama being left without real information to make those decisions. Any mama being shamed for the path that was right for her body and her family. Any mama ending her journey earlier than she wanted to because she could not access real support.

Fed matters. Your mental health matters. Your experience matters. Your choices deserve respect.

And if you are here looking for someone who will give you the full picture instead of the judgment you found her.

Some things are just better shown than explained.

I made this video because using parallel pumping as an alternative to triple feeding is something I get asked about constantly, and every time I try to explain it in text, I know I am losing people before they get to the part that actually helps.

So here it is. Visual. Clear. Exactly what you need to see.

Watch the full video on my profile. Save it so it is there when you need it at 3 a.m. And share it with a mama who needs to see this.

She stood at the freezer holding a bag of breast milk.
Her baby had weaned. The freezer was still full. Every time she opened it, her chest got tight.
That milk cost her sleep, tears, sore mornings, and so much love. She couldn’t throw it away.
So she came. 🤍
She walked into a room that smelled like shea and sweet herbs. Warm voices. Women who just got it.
She mixed. She poured. She watched something raw transform into something beautiful right in her hands.

Then Dr.JuNene K began to speak and that’s when she really let go.

Because in that same space where we make the soap, we make room. Room to unpack. Room to honor every ounce of what your body gave.

When she held that first bar, warm and silky, she wasn’t just holding soap.
She was holding her story. 🧼✨

Your breastfeeding journey does not stay the same from week to week. It evolves. It responds to your life your stress level, your sleep, your schedule changes, your baby's growth. What was working in week two needs a check in at week six.

Four questions. Every week. That is the practice.
How is my hydration? Supply responds to water more than most mamas realize. If output dropped this week, hydration is always the first place to look.

Is my latch still comfortable? Pain that is creeping back in is a signal, not a coincidence. Catch it now.

Is baby gaining and producing wet diapers? These are your clearest indicators that transfer is actually happening regardless of how much you see in the pump bottle.

Am I getting real support or going it alone? This is the one most mamas skip over. Do not skip it.

Drop a number in the comments which one are you focusing on this week? Visit the link in bio to book a check in consult if you need more than a checklist. 🌐 thebreastchoicels.com 💛

The single most impactful thing you can do for your breastfeeding journey happens before your baby is even born.
Most mamas walk into the hospital knowing they want to breastfeed and almost nothing else. They do not know that their milk takes 3 to 5 days to fully come in. They do not know what cluster feeding is or why it happens or that it is not a supply emergency. They do not know what a good latch actually looks like from the inside. And when none of that goes the way they imagined they think they are failing.

They are not failing. They were just never prepared.

My Prenatal Breastfeeding Class changes that. We cover the first 48 hours of feeding, latch technique, how your milk supply is established, what your baby's cues mean, what the hospital might not tell you, and how to build a real support system before you need one.

Mamas who take this class walk into delivery knowing what to expect. That is not a small thing. That is everything.

Thirty days. That is how long it takes for a ritual to become automatic.

The first week you remember to roll it on before most sessions. By week two your hands reach for it without thinking. By week three your body has started preparing for letdown before the pump even turns on because it has learned the cue.

That is the power of a consistent pre pump ritual. And that is why Mama's Flow is not just a product it is the anchor of a practice that trains your body to work with you instead of against you.

Best seller. IBCLC created. Made for the mama who deserves more than surviving every pump session on her own with no support and no ritual.

One roll before every session. Feel the difference in 30 days. Shop Mama's Flow at thebreastchoicels.com/shop $16.99. Link in bio. 🌐

Your baby isn’t rejecting YOU…. they’re rejecting the position 🤍

I had a mama come to me in tears last week saying her baby “hated” the breast. She was ready to give up.
The second I coached her to adjust her hold? Baby latched in 10 seconds. 😭
Here’s what I want every new mom to know:
✨ Breastfeeding is a LEARNED skill …. for both of you
✨ Crying at the breast = communication, not rejection
✨ Position & angle matter MORE than most people realize
✨ You are not failing …you just need the right support

If your baby is arching, pulling off, or fussing at the breast …. don’t quit on a hard day. Reach out to an IBCLC first. 🙏
We can usually fix it faster than you think (even virtual)

A bad latch is the #1 reason moms quit breastfeeding…. and most don’t even know it’s happening. 💔

As an IBCLC, here’s what a poor latch actually looks like:
❌ Ni**le pain that doesn’t ease after the first 30 seconds
❌ A clicking or smacking sound while baby feeds
❌ Baby’s lips tucked IN instead of flanged OUT
❌ Flattened, creased, or lipstick-shaped ni**le after a feed
If any of these sound familiar… mama, it’s not you. It’s the latch. And it IS fixable. 🙌

The good news? Once we correct the latch, that ni**le soreness and damage starts to heal. In the meantime, our Mama Ni**le Butter is what I recommend to every single one of my clients to soothe, protect, and heal between feeds.. because you deserve comfort while you learn. 🧈✨

The most common thing I hear from mamas who are in crisis when they finally reach out?
"I kept thinking it would get better on its own." "I didn't want to bother anyone." "I thought I was supposed to be able to figure this out."

And the most common thing I think when I hear it?

If she had called two weeks ago, we would not be here right now.

The shift that changes everything is this: breastfeeding support is not a crisis resource. It is a preparation and maintenance resource. It is for the first week home. It is for when something feels slightly off before it becomes completely broken. It is for before the supply drops, before the pain becomes unbearable, before you are sitting in your car in the parking lot trying to decide whether to give up.

Getting help early is not weakness. It is the single most strategic thing you can do for your breastfeeding journey.

Make the call before you think you need to. That one decision changes everything.

Most breastfeeding tips focus on what you know. This one focuses on what you do because what you do consistently is what determines your outcomes.

Habit 1: Build a pre pump ritual and make it non-negotiable. Your letdown responds to cues. The same warmth, the same product, the same three intentional breaths before every session trains your body to respond faster and more fully. Mama's Flow Roller is that cue for hundreds of pumping and EP mamas and the results speak for themselves.

Habit 2: Make your hydration feel like something worth doing. You already know you need more water. But knowing and doing are different things. Let It Flow™ Tea turns hydration into a warm, grounding ritual that your body and your supply will both notice. Start one cup a day and build from there.

Habit 3: Check in with yourself every single week. Not just with your baby's weight and diapers. With your latch comfort, your output trends, your mental load, and the honest answer to whether you need more support than you currently have. Small adjustments caught early prevent the crashes that end journeys.

One habit at a time. Start this week. Shop Mama's Flow and Let It Flow™ Tea at thebreastchoicels.com/shop link in bio. 🌐

Our Mother’s Day edition of our prenatal breastfeeding class!

The work starts the night before. 🤎

Setting up the space, arranging the circle, prepping giveaways, making sure every detail says “you belong here” before a single family walks through the door.

This class was something special. We talked community, practiced real positioning and we had some laughs. Shoutout to for donating food and the for proving ASL interpreter to ensure sure every family in that room felt seen and supported.

After class I personally reviewed every intake and reached out to families showing early signs of low milk supply. Because the support does not stop when class ends.

This is what breastfeeding education looks and why 80% of families who receive our prenatal education go on to meet their long term breastfeeding goals.

New programming coming soon based on what YOU told us you need. Stay tuned. 👀

And thank you to our doulas and for trusting us to educate the families you support.
