Safety is important no matter where you are, stay aware of your surroundings and have emergency contact information. Being prepared and planning ahead will save some "STEPS". Happy Friday Everyone! Cold weather is the perfect time to enjoy a great soup, what's your favorite soup? Dr. Brandy's favorite is Butternut Squash.


When doing cardio make sure to wear running shoes that have extra cushioning to reduce the impact on your feet and joints. Take the extra step by getting medical grade inserts which help to support your arch and provide additional cushioning.


Why do corns keep coming back? Corns are formed from repeated pressure or friction, such as wearing shoes that rub while walking or simply being too tight. Some corns are due to a bone deformity that causes the bone to protrude, as a result the body forms a corn to protect itself. Why is skin dry in the winter? Changes in the temperature and humidity can cause the skin to dry more. Your skin is striped of it's moisture more in the colder weather than warm weather, so be sure to stay moisturized. If you are in need of a good moisturizer, give our office a call we carry moisturizers that can be purchased any time of the year.
