Hey everyone! Dr. Barnett here, I wanted to reintroduce myself for all of our new Facebook followers and to everyone following along on our new Instagram!
It’s so amazing having this space to share some of the life-changing results we’ve achieved for our patients, answer all of your questions, and show you what it looks like when you take your life back with ketamine therapy! ☀️
A little about me:
First and foremost, I am so passionate about helping my patients get to the root of their problems to become the best versions of themselves! I’m so thankful for the trust they place in me! I will always go above and beyond for them!
I received my medical degree from Loma Linda University in California, where the focus is on treating patients as a whole rather than just treating isolated symptoms. This holistic approach helped me recognize the complex interactions between physical and mental health. After receiving my degree I continued my training in anesthesiology at UC San Diego. I finished training in 2011 and practiced mostly in the military setting since then until just recently. I love our great military community along the Emerald Coast!
I was an active-duty Air Force anesthesiologist in a deployed combat setting which gave me firsthand exposure to mental illness associated with trauma including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am also deeply familiar with chronic pain issues caused by injury or medical illness through years of my anesthesiology practice.
I am so inspired by the results we’ve achieved for our patients, and I am so honored to be trusted by so many amazing people, often when they are most vulnerable.
I’m extremely passionate about my work. Helping people through my practice is incredibly fulfilling and l’m so thankful I get to do this every day!
So there’s a little about me, and I cannot wait to continue to show you the amazing work we’ve been doing here at Physicians Ketamine Institute of Destin! 💙
