This.. I canā€™t tell you how much my Grandmother resembles a child that Iā€™ve never birthed.

I think because Iā€™m childless a lot of my family thinks I have no idea what Iā€™m doing. WHen sheā€™s hallucinates they often correct her or argue with her. I try to avoid doing that. I also try to avoid physically intervening whenever possible.

When I tell my family how she oils my hair and hits me they tell me to hit her back. At most Iā€™ve stopped her from hitting me and pinched her after a lot of abuse. The pinch didnā€™t stop her yall šŸ™ƒ

But she calmed down shortly after that. Idk. Maybe granny got a points

Unfortunate my LO is in the hospital, she has a UTI - which can be deadly for elders šŸ„ŗ.. and she wonā€™t eat. My family has found some small sliver of blame to try and serve my mom and I. Meanwhile they forget she exists until we are able to bring her to an event. Did I mention no one has visited her since sheā€™s been in the hospital? šŸ˜’

Then there my half-sisterā€™s grandma who passed this week. I want to be there for her, but all I really wanna do is curl up in a ball and cry until springā€¦ that and maybe a few TV shows too.

As a caregiver, sometimes it feels like you will never do anything right enough.

You clean up (unheard) a house or set up an organizing system? Congrats, you get blamed for everything being out of place.

You donā€™t put away your stuff because youā€™re too tired. Well why donā€™t you put your stuff away? How dare you ask where things are.

You put your things in your room? Youknow you have to lock your door.

You lock your door and your LO breaks the know? Well you know itā€™s gonna get bad before it gets worse.

You cook breakfast, clean up the house, and organize medicine? But Why did you let your LO stay on the bathroom for so long?

You kindly (repeatedly) ask your LO to come out the bathroom or try to help them up get ready?
Youā€™re a b***h, f off, go to hell!! Bonus: door slamming, hitting & hair pulling.

Woke up to my My LO (loved one) holding my wallet again. She was ā€œjust holding the bookā€ for me. And then was pi**ed with me all day. Why would I put it back in my purse?! I realize now how thoughtless I was being.
