⭐️Today, an incredible group of volunteers joined forces with us and to distribute over 250 meals to families in need!⭐️

Everyone worked for hours, sorting, bagging, and distributing the food to ensure the families in our community have everything they need to enjoy the long weekend.

Thank you so much to every single person who spent their Friday giving back with us! It was a great day!🥕🌽🍔🌭🍑🥬

🎒Last Friday, we hosted our annual Back to School Bash alongside CNS Healthcare - Michigan, Detroit Parks & Recreation, and Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network!🎒

It was a HUGE success, providing 1,300 students with backpacks filled with the supplies they need for the new school year! 🤗

Thank you so much to all of the incredible donors who supported the Backpacks for Dreams Drive, this was possible because of YOU!💕

A massive thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, resource groups, and partners who made sure this event went off without a hitch! You are INCREDIBLE!🥳

Providing classroom-based programs, Head Start/ Early Head Start is a free, federal funded program that is designed to promote school readiness for income eligible families by providing comprehensive services for pregnant moms and children ages 0-5.

John is the vice president and CFO at Edw. C. Levy Co., where he has driven strategic financial growth and innovation. His background includes two decades of global finance leadership across sectors, including manufacturing and aerospace, with an emphasis on compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning.

📚MiSide's Early On team hosted a story time at Redford Library! 📚

We had so many families join us for a fun-filled day! It was a great way to connect to more families in the community as well as provide an opportunity to the families that we are currently working with to venture out!

Phillip is a civic leader and philanthropist whose extensive experience in nonprofit governance and community investment continues to shape Detroit’s revitalization. He most recently served as Chair of the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation and serves on both the Board and the Investment Committee of The Fisher Group. Fisher brings a deep understanding of social impact strategies and public-private partnerships.

The Back to School Bash is this Friday, August 15 from 12-4pm at the Heilmann Recreation Center in Detroit. We are so excited to provide over 1,000 students with backpacks full of the supplies they need to succeed!
