Rivertown Reminder---Rivertown Detroit Association --Thursday, January 23, 2020 presents Active Shooter & Response Training (CRASE) in conjunction with the DPD Shield Program, Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School, Detroit Receiving Hospital and Detroit East Medical Control Authority. Two one hour, back to back sessions on what to do if you are caught in an Active Attack and what to do afterwards to help. The sessions are open to all Rivertown members, guests and the public. There is no charge for the training that will be held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School (3200 East Lafayette Blvd). Pre-registration is recommended,but not required prior to the meeting--- simply click on the link below--please enter January 23rd as the date you will be attending.

Special Notes:
*Enter through the main entrance to Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School off of East Lafayette--plenty of parking available.
*Please arrive between 4:30PM--5PM. The presentation will begin promptly at 5PM. You don't want to miss a single minute.
*Registration is encouraged with the link below to expedite entry, but not required---you can register at the school the on Thursday, January 23rd. Again, please come early.

Hopefully, you never have to experience this occurrence, but if you would, we want you to be prepared to survive the attack and be able to help afterwards. The 9th Annual Kids Fishing Fest presented in conjunction with the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy was held Sunday June 9th at William G Milliken Maria with well over 750 in attendance--Our biggest Kids Fishing Fest ever!! All enjoying the family event of fun, fishing and festivities. A great time was had by all--See everyone next year for the 10 Anniversary get together. Thank you--Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, DNR, MSU, Border Patrol, US Coast Guard, Detroit Police and Fire Departments and so many others for making this such a successful event!!!!!!!
