This week is National Handwashing Awareness Week. Practicing the following four principles of hand awareness can prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu:

- Wash your hands when they’re dirty and before eating
- Do not cough into your hands
- Do not sneeze into your hands
- Avoid putting your hands near your eyes, nose and mouth

Properly washing your hands is crucial to staying healthy, especially during the high-risk winter season.
