Come ready to run the court and rep your squad. Join us for the Health Is Wealth DET Basketball Tournament hosted by the Black Legacy Advancement Coalition - August 15th from 1PM to 6PM at the Joseph Walker Williams Center.

💥 Tournament Divisions:
• 5th–8th Grade: 1PM – 2:30PM
• 9th–12th Grade: 2:30PM – 4PM
• Adults (18+): 4PM – 6PM

Check-in opens one hour before game time. Squads of 5–6 players allowed (5 man teams, 1 sub).

💰 Cash Prizes for Winning Teams!
• $100 – Adult Division (18 and up)
• $50 – High School Division (9th to 12th grade)

The Black Legacy Advancement Coalition’s highly anticipated health and wellness expo, Health Is Wealth Detroit, returns to the city this summer, August 15th from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

“What Can We Expect?”

This year we’re bringing the experience to our neighborhoods! 🏡We’re moving HIW25 to the Joseph Walker Williams Community Center, just blocks from the Coalition’s Ali Legacy House for Men and the Home for Women. You’ll be able to do a walking tour of the spaces, and get to know our work up close in a more meaningful way.

Health Is Wealth Detroit remains the premier wellness gathering for individuals and families that want to have an experience that is fun, educational, and culturally rich. There will be exceptional food, high quality vendors, free health screenings, live music, free fitness classes, as well as some incredible giveaways! The entire day provides a bevy of resources to support our community, enriching lives – mind, body and spirit! ⚡️
