Our Story
The African American nuclear family is at risk. Building Better Relationships between Brothers and Sisters. There are few marriageable brothers at the college level and beyond for sisters to marry. Seventy percent of African American Children are born outside of holy matrimony. Building a nation takes families, Building wealth takes families. I have spent my life finding solutions to the challenges that face Africans in America, Healing Ourselves Through Excellence, Prayer and Preparation (H.O.T.E.P. Christian Services Inc.) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization devoted to solutions for the Black Family in General and At Risk African American Males in Particular. We have an Annual Conference that is Solution Focused and Interdisciplinary. We provide Mental Health Services including Pre-marital Counseling, Couples Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychological Testing, Clinical Psychotherapy, Addictions Counseling, Parent Education and Anger Management Therapy.
