ICYMI -
🎉 Exciting news from Henry Ford Health Hermelin Brain Tumor Center! 🎉

We are proud to share that we’ve officially been designated a Comprehensive Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center by the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

This recognition truly reflects the strength of our multidisciplinary team and the level of care we strive to provide for patients with neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis every day. It’s a meaningful milestone and a testament to the collaboration and commitment of our team.

A special thank you to Lisa Scarpace for leading the extensive application process and helping move us to this comprehensive designation—no small feat!

This designation raises our profile as a regional referral center and opens more opportunities to grow our clinical programs, expand our research, and continue building our NF clinical trials.

*It's not to late to register*

We're excited about the advances being made in the treatment of brain tumors. Join us tomorrow, Monday, April 13th from 5:30pm to 7pm to learn more at a special presentation by Dr. Eric Mellon, “GLIMMER: Glioblastoma Imaging & Molecular Monitoring for Early Risk-stratification”

Glioblastoma Imaging & Molecular Monitoring for Early Risk-stratification is a method doctors use to better understand brain tumors. It combines advanced imaging (like detailed scans) with molecular information (data from the tumor’s cells). This helps doctors see differences within the tumor, track how it responds to treatment, and predict how the patient might do early on.
