Our community partners at Support Detroit Transit invite you to join a community conversation on infrastructure and mobility hosted by Mayor Sheffield. This meeting is a welcomed part of her transition process and a prime opportunity for the disability community to ensure our voices are heard regarding Detroit's streets and transit systems.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 18, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at St. Andrew's Memorial Episcopal Church, located on the Wayne State campus.

Whether you use a wheelchair, rely on DDOT/SMART, or navigate our city's sidewalks daily, please come out to advocate for a more accessible Detroit.

The Just Ask Talk Show foundation clothing drive was a HUGE success and we were so honored to have taken part in it. Thank you to all those have given their donations of clothing, shoes, coats and food. Thank you to those who gave their time and talents as barbers and nail techs free of charge to the veterans and returning citizens who came to receive the resources. Thank you to the folks at the Considine Center for hosting us!

Valentine’s Day plans are on us! šŸ’˜šŸ’

Join us on Saturday, February 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for our Senior Ball with Officers. We’re welcoming Detroit residents ages 50 and older to get dressed up and join us for Valentine’s Day festivities, lunch and dessert 🧁.

Help us make our 2nd Annual "Twice as Nice" Men and Women Veterans, Re-Entry and Disabled Clothing Drive & Giveaway a success. We are currently accepting donations at our office space, located at 11000 W. McNichols in the rear parking lot, on Friday, January 16th only from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While we are collecting clothing to support those in need, we are also specifically requesting volunteers, hangers, and bags to assist with the event.

For more information regarding donation drop-offs or the main event on January 22nd, please contact the "Just Ask" Foundation at 800-323-5336.
