Our March member meeting was a big success. Thank you to those that came out to make their voices heard. To our guest Christopher Samp of the Office of Disability Affairs, Dessa Cosma of Detroit Disability Power and the mayor's transition team, and representatives for Detroit's paratransit service: we appreciate you for being there. REMINDER! Join us tomorrow on February 18th for a discussion with Mayor Sheffield on public transit!

Our community partners at Support Detroit Transit invite you to join a community conversation on infrastructure and mobility hosted by Mayor Sheffield. This meeting is a welcomed part of her transition process and a prime opportunity for the disability community to ensure our voices are heard regarding Detroit's streets and transit systems.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 18, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at St. Andrew's Memorial Episcopal Church, located on the Wayne State campus.

Whether you use a wheelchair, rely on DDOT/SMART, or navigate our city's sidewalks daily, please come out to advocate for a more accessible Detroit.
