Get ready, Detroit! Next Wednesday, Meridian is teaming up with Country Fresh Dairy and Meijer to serve up 10,000 scoops of Moose Tracks Ice Cream at Cadillac Square Park – and everyone is invited!

It's all part of the 10,000 Scoop Challenge where every scoop you enjoy equals $1 donated to The Salvation Army Great Lakes Division. That's $10,000 raised in just four hours! In addition, Meridian team members will be on-site volunteering to scoop and serve – because giving back is what we do best.

Yesterday, Meridian Plan President and CEO Patricia Graham joined an inspiring Global Citizen panel alongside NFL Hall of Famer Darrell Green and UNC basketball standout Iman McFarland to spotlight the transformative work of Strong Youth Strong Communities (SYSC).

Led by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and our parent company, Centene, SYSC’s goal is to empower young people with the tools, support and opportunities they need to thrive. At Meridian, we believe that helping people live better, healthier lives starts with making high-quality care accessible – and that includes mental health care.

We’re facing a youth mental health crisis and SYSC is meeting it head-on. By helping young people believe they matter, that they belong and that they can overcome life’s challenges, SYSC is building a foundation for lifelong well-being and resilience.
