Hello! If you are a CANCAN household, this is a reminder that our Annual Meeting is THIS Wednesday, October 16th at Metropolitan United Methodist Church (8000 Woodward Ave). It begins with registration and Buddy's Pizza at 5:30PM. Call to Order at 6:00PM.
We will have a brief neighborhood security update from Officer Moore, discussion of 2024 CANCAN accomplishments, and vote on new Board members. If you cannot attend, PLEASE return your proxy form or send it with a neighbor who is attending. Also, please consider running. Post questions here!

Tonight at Pallister Park!

🧘‍♀️ Tonight is Yoga Night in Pallister Park! Join us in collaboration with The Detroit Parks Coalition and Yoganic Flow for Yoga in the Parks at Pallister Park every Thursday at 6 p.m. all summer long. Classes are free and accessible to all ages and abilities, just bring a yoga mat and water 💧!

Registration is recommended but not required. Register at bit.ly/PallisterYoga

📍 Pallister Park is located at Second and Pallister in New Center.

Tomorrow kicks off Wednesday Fun at New Center Park! The Pistons Neighbors Program, in partnership with The Detroit Parks Coalition, is hosting weekly programming through August 14.

Come to the park on Wednesdays, starting June 19, for FREE African Drumming and Theater Performances for the whole family!

CANCAN encourages residents to attend this May 30 meeting with Midtown Detroit to share views on our New Center parks. Dinner will be served, so please RSVP.

🌳 Join us next Thursday, May 30 from 6pm to 8pm for an evening of dinner and conversation with The Detroit Parks Coalition and New Detroit, Inc. as we discuss the topics of safety and belonging within our Midtown & New Center Parks.
