The DCHC Outreach Team recently participated in BTS (Black Tech Saturdays)! We were invited to participate because many are self-employed and may not have health insurance or a provider. Not familiar? Here is a little bit about BTS.

Promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry by highlighting the contributions and challenges faced by Black professionals. The organization raises awareness about the importance of representation and strives to eliminate barriers and biases within the industry.

Actively engaging with the broader community to bridge the digital divide and increase access to technology resources. They frequently partner with schools, community organizations, and companies to offer educational initiatives, workshops, and resources to underserved communities.

And DCHC was right there!
