Detroit is launching a new program offering up to $15,000 to help current and future residents buy homes, start businesses, or cover renovations. The Make Detroit Home program will distribute over $500,000 in benefits to 313 residents, targeting creatives, entrepreneurs, and small-business owners, as well as returning Detroiters. Additional eligible residents can receive $1,000 for relocation costs or quality-of-life perks.

🚨REMINDER: Detroit Home Repair Applications Close THIS Sunday!

Detroit homeowners and renters. The City’s free Home Repair application closes Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 PM. Two programs are available: Critical Home Repair (for homeowners) and Detroit LeadSafe (for owners or renters with young children or pregnant women in the home). Income limits apply.

This is a good reminder to never click links or respond to unexpected texts about Apple Pay, Apple Cash, or bank charges, tolls, taxes, etc. When in doubt, contact the company directly through their official app or phone number.

We offer Community Technology Program (CTP) classes for seniors that cover how to spot scams, protect personal information, and stay safe online.

A new phishing scam is targeting people who have iPhones or use Apple Pay or Apple Cash. A woman from Southgate received a text about an Apple Pay charge she didn't make.

The has partnered with Forgotten Harvest to provide free meals for families this December. All library locations will have take home meal bags available. Each bag contains 3 breakfast snack items and 3 lunches. The meals can be picked up at any location—while supplies last.
