We are delighted to feature the wonderful Olivia Horvath as our Patient of the Week! Olivia is truly a part of the Detroit Caring Dentistry family, having been a loyal patient for an incredible 20 years! We are so grateful for her continued trust. During her most recent appointment, we caught up and learned all about her recent travels! Olivia just returned from a spectacular vacation to Rhodes, Greece. She told us it is a fabulous city with amazing architecture and culture. We loved hearing her rave about it!

Olivia highly recommended that our entire team visit Rhodes one day, and it's definitely on our list now! Thank you, Olivia, for being a dedicated patient for two decades and for sharing your amazing travel stories with us. We look forward to many more years of caring for your smile!

This week, we are celebrating a very special member of our Detroit Caring Dentistry family, Jackie Childress! Jackie's connection to our practice runs deep—she has known Dr. Hill her entire life and has been a dedicated patient here for countless years.

Even though Jackie now enjoys the warmer weather in South Carolina, she made time during her holiday visit to Detroit to see us. We were so happy to work with her busy visiting schedule to ensure she received the excellent dental care she deserves before heading back south.

We also want to give a huge congratulations to Jackie on her retirement! After an incredible career spanning 53 years, with 48 years dedicated to the vital field of social work, she is now enjoying a well-deserved rest. We deeply appreciate her lifetime of service to others in the community.

Thank you for being such a wonderful patient, Jackie! We wish you a peaceful, relaxing, and joyous holiday season!

Amber has been a beloved member of our dental family for 9 wonderful years! She originally came to our office through a kind referral from her grandparents, who are also long-time patients of Dr. Hill! We love keeping the whole family smiling!

During her most recent routine check-up, our team had a wonderful time catching up with Amber and learned some incredible news:

She got married this past summer in August! She and her spouse celebrated with a beautiful honeymoon in Japan!

Monica has been a beloved member of the Detroit Caring Dentistry family for eight amazing years, sharing with Dr. Hill that her experience with our staff has been nothing short of amazing. She recently returned from an incredible trip to Ireland, where she explored the beautiful country and had so much fun meeting family overseas and delving into her ancestry.

We absolutely love welcoming new smiles to the Detroit Caring Dentistry family, and this week we want to give a huge shout-out to our newest patient, Ka’Miya Greene!

Ka’Miya had a wonderful first visit with our team. She was so brave and did such a fantastic job during her appointment! We couldn't stop smiling as she left the office beaming with excitement because her next stop was McDonald’s for a well-deserved Happy Meal!

We also want to recognize her proud father, Keyoa Greene, who did an excellent job preparing Ka’Miya for her first dental check-up. Thank you, Keyoa, for trusting us with your daughter's oral health!

Say hello to our sweet patient of the week, Jonah Skinner!

We absolutely love having Jonah and his mother as part of the Detroit Caring Dentistry family. It's been just a year, but they've already found their new dental home with us. We remember how quickly they felt at ease in our office, which proves that a calm and kind atmosphere really makes a difference!

Jonah is having a milestone week: he just started pre-school AND he’s going to his very first show at the iconic Fisher Theatre tomorrow!

It was a genuine pleasure to welcome Nick Shillace for his first visit with us, and we are delighted to have him join the Detroit Caring Dentistry family. From the moment he walked through our doors, he brought a great energy, and we had a truly fantastic time getting to know him not just as a patient, but as a valued member of our community.

When Nick isn't being a stellar patient, he is a dedicated and talented musician! He is an integral member of the Post Imperial Jazz Band, a group known for its truly unique and captivating sound - a mix of traditional jazz, folk, Western Swing, and the rich musical ephemera of Americana. This unique blend is something you definitely won't want to miss. If you're looking to catch Nick and the band live, be sure to mark your calendars: they will be performing at The Bowlero on November 7th.

After his appointment, he graciously shared these kind words: "Dr. Hill and his staff are thorough and gentle. It's the best experience I've ever had at the dentist!" Meet our incredible new patient, Meika Tucker! When she isn't lighting up our office with her smile, Meika is a prolific author! Meika recently released her 29th and 30th books, a truly amazing lifetime achievement!

This week, Detroit Caring Dentistry is thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our most loyal and valued patients, Reverend Celia McCallum!

Reverend Celia has been a part of the Detroit Caring Dentistry family for over 15 years, trusting her smile to Dr. Hill. She shared that she feels safe and secure with him taking care of her teeth, which is the greatest compliment we could receive.

Her trust in Dr. Hill's care is so strong that she has recommended countless family and friends to our practice over the years. We especially love seeing her daughter, Ramona McCallum, and her wonderful grandchildren—Tylia, Rania, and Cairo—who are all now part of the Detroit Caring Dentistry family! It is truly an honor to care for multiple generations of the McCallum family.
