2025 DAAA Model Contest Winner

Mr. Henry is the embodiment of style & class; showing us that age is truly nothing but a number!

Here's What Mr. Henry had to say about aging gracefully:

"[Aging] isn’t a finish line, it’s a BOLD, exciting new starting line. Remember, every single day in this new chapter is a gift—a chance to discover, create, and live your best life. Go out there and move, make this new adventure yours. The key to loving life as a Senior is seizing the Freedom and time you now have."

We’re carrying that same spirit of empowerment and connection into our next mission: ensuring homebound seniors feel seen, supported, and cared for during the holidays.

The DAAA Fashion Show was a vibrant celebration of confidence, community, and aging with dignity. Our models lit up the runway, reminding us all that beauty and strength have no age limit.

Now, as we move into the season of giving, we’re carrying that same spirit of empowerment and connection into our next mission: ensuring homebound seniors feel seen, supported, and cared for during the holidays.

With your help, we can deliver Holiday Meals on Wheels, providing not just nourishment, but also warmth and human connection to older adults across Detroit.

Because everyone deserves more than a meal, they deserve to know they matter. This season and always.

This , we’re proud to celebrate aging out loud with the DAAA G.A.L.A. Fashion Show, where older adults strut, shine, and shatter stereotypes.

Ageism wrongly assumes that aging means invisibility, decline, or irrelevance. The DAAA Fashion Show proves otherwise, showcasing bold style, confidence, and the joy of self-expression at any age.

Let’s rewrite the narrative: Aging isn’t something to hide, it’s something to celebrate.

Because dignity, beauty, and strength don’t come with an expiration date.
