📚 Brainy Badgers Book Time! 📚

Each student received a book and spent time quietly exploring it on their own — looking at the cover, flipping through the pages, and studying the pictures. Afterward, they paired up with a buddy to share what they noticed, talk about the details they saw, and listen to their partner’s ideas as well.

This activity helped build early literacy skills, observation, communication, and peer interaction, all while fostering a love for books. We love seeing our Brainy Badgers grow as readers and thinkers! 🧠📖

Today the brave bear classroom was turned into an interactive library which allowed the kids to pick a book out using their library card and sit quietly in the library to read. They were taught the rules of how to behave in the library and they did an amazing job!

For our activity today, the kids got to make their very own books titled “First Day of Daycare.” They worked on their tracing and coloring/drawing skills while we talked as a class about what our days at daycare look like. Each page showed a different part of our routine, and the children illustrated what they do throughout the day. Their books all turned out so great and unique!

Today in our Bubbly Butterflies class, We started by reviewing all the stories we read throughout the week and talked about which ones were our favorites. The children did a wonderful job remembering characters &events. For our activity, the class created their very own books! The students decorated the front covers, getting creative with colors and designs to make their books special! We can’t wait to start filling our books with our own stories! 💛🦋
