Today, our students explored our “Birds” theme by creating their own bright and colorful birds. They carefully assembled different shapes and pieces, strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The children showed great focus and creativity as they designed their unique birds, while also engaging in conversations about colors and bird features. This hands-on activity encouraged both imaginative expression and early learning about birds in a fun and meaningful way.

Today, our brave bears and bubbly butterflies got to experience what ocean life feels like. Students played with an ocean sensory bin filled with ocean friends, describing what the ocean feels like, how cold the water is, and how the deeper the ocean goes, the darker it gets. It was a fun learning experience, and many memories were created.

Today in our Bubbly Butterfly class, we celebrated Flower Day! 🌸 We had so much fun learning all about flowers. We talked about the different parts of a flower—like the petals, stem, and roots—and discussed what flowers need to grow big and strong, such as sunlight, water, and soil.

For our creative activity, the kiddos used forks and paint to make their very own beautiful flowers! They loved exploring this fun painting technique and created such colorful masterpieces.

Today we worked on a fun spring-inspired flower matching activity! 🌸 The kids practiced recognizing and matching letters by placing the correct flower on each spot. This activity helped build their letter recognition, focus, and fine motor skills. The students designed their own 'under the sea' themed snacks today, utilizing their creativity to craft a miniature ocean scene. They applied blue icing to represent water and incorporated vibrant toppings, such as sprinkles and crackers, to animate their oceanic creations. The children worked independently, exploring their imagination and taking pride in their distinctive designs, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
