To prevent excess bruising/swelling:

🍷 Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to and after the procedure.
💊 Don't take aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, fish oil, multi-vitamins, and vitamin E for about a week before the procedure.
🤸‍♀️ Avoid working out and extreme heat (saunas, sun tanning, etc.) for 24-48 hours after the procedure.
