In October of 2011, the facility in DeWitt formally known as Amber Ridge, under new ownership became Maggie’s House. Laura took over a facility that was failing and together with the employees and residents, brought back to life. Maggie’s House is a very special place with its own unique personality that offers a boutique-style setting. The staff at Maggie’s House continues to be one of our biggest assets, They are staff who truly cares and goes above and beyond in every situation. They work not only to meet but exceed the expectation of those we serve on a daily basis. Maggie’s House is not subject to the “cookie-cutter” model of a large corporation. We are mindful that each resident comes with an individual set of needs. The residents of Maggie’s House are encouraged to create desired activities. We strive to maintain an environment that is representative of our resident’s wishes and values. Maggie’s House continues to find innovative ways to ensure that we meet the needs of our residents every day. We recognize the importance of having a place that you trust and rely on.
