Timothy S. Bartlett, of Dexter, was born on August 31, 1960 in Tiptonville, Tennessee to the late Roy and Peggy (Glozier) Bartlett and passed away on May 27, 2026 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 65.

On December 21, 1981, Tim married his high school sweetheart Lisa Campbell in Parma, Missouri and she survives of the home.

Tim was raised by his grandparents, Della and Addison Bartlett for a large part of his childhood and he was a member of the Church of Christ in Parma. In his younger days, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tim loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren, as well as visiting with friends.

Surviving family include his loving wife of nearly 45 years, Lisa Bartlett, of Dexter, Missouri, two children, Timothy Adam (Emily) Bartlett, of Dale, Arkansas and Samantha Bartlett, of Dexter, Missouri, four grandchildren, Marty, Violet, Harper and Sophie, four siblings, David (Michelle) Bartlett, of Covington, Tennessee, Johnathan (Gina) Bartlett, of Hornbeak, Tennessee, Mark Bartlett, of Arkansas, and Jackie Bartlett, of Ripley, Tennessee, a sister-in-law, Sharon, a brother-in-law, Marvin Abernathy, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ira Martin Bartlett, a grandson Brendan, three siblings, Kenny, Gary and Cathy, and his grandparents, Della and Addison Bartlett.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Parma First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri, beginning at 12 P.M, with the funeral to follow at 1 P.M.

Robert David Cooper, age 61, of Malden, Missouri, passed away at his home on May 17, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1964, to the late Robert Vernon Cooper and Martha Ann Powell Cooper.

Robert moved to this area in 1984 from St. Louis, Missouri, after spending several years living in Springfield, Missouri. He enjoyed attending the Sage Creek Day Center and was known for his love of collecting baseball cards. Robert was also a devoted fan of The Wizard of Oz and enjoyed watching classic monster movies.

Survivors include five sisters, Charlotte Diane Turner of Calvert, Alabama, Mary Frances Powell of Fisk, Missouri, Alberta Lynn Hunsaker of Dexter, Missouri, Charlotte Mae Kitchen of Van Buren, Missouri, and Carolyn Jean Jordan of Desoto, Missouri; two brothers, Charles Dean Powell of Dudley, Missouri and Edward Allen Cooper of Desoto, Missouri; along with other family members and friends who will greatly miss him.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three siblings, Quida Joyce Webb, Thomas Ready, and Donald Ready.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Jimmie Dale Clark, age 76, passed away on May 16, 2026, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on January 24, 1950, to the late James Dalton Clark and Jean Frances Whitfield Clark in Alton, Illinois.

Jimmie was united in marriage to Yvonne Lynn Harbour on July 20, 1974, in East Alton, Illinois. Together they shared many years of marriage and family life.

He worked as a laborer and union boss at the Alton Steel Mill until his retirement in 2016. Jimmie and his family were originally from this area and had recently returned home. Throughout his life, he also lived in Bethalto, Shipman, and Alton, Illinois. He attended Zion Southern Baptist Church with his family.

Jimmie enjoyed working with wood and crafting projects with his hands. He loved spending time outdoors, especially farming, working with his tractor, and finding projects to keep himself busy. His hardworking nature and love for the outdoors were well known by those who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Clark; one son, Jason (Melissa) Clark of Cottage Hills, Illinois; two grandchildren, John (Michelle) Williams of Worden, Illinois and Patrick Williams of Cottage Hills, Illinois; one great-grandchild, Maisie Williams; and two close friends, Dennis Emmons and Kevin Reichter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Clark and Steven Clark.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

Pamela Rolla, age 67, passed away on May 10, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1958, to the late John Curtis and Irene Curtis Slavko.

Pamela spent most of her life in this area and was a homemaker. She earned her GED and was a faithful attendee of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pamela loved her dogs and treasured the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Samantha Karmas of Dexter, Missouri and Melissa Grubbs of Puxico, Missouri; her significant other, Moses Montezuma; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in January of 2021.

At this time, no services are planned.

Linda Kay Pickens, 77, of Puxico, Missouri, passed away on May 8, 2026, in Puxico, Missouri. Born on May 22, 1948, to the late David A. Harty and Mary Ethel Baker, Linda lived in this area all of her life and was of the Baptist faith.

Linda graduated high school and attended some college. She was known for her kind heart and the many friendships she made throughout her life. Linda enjoyed collecting records and collectible items, shopping, and spending time with those she loved most. She especially loved her family, and her grandchildren brought her great joy. She also dearly loved her little chihuahua, Sarah Jane.

Survivors include her children: Deana Powell, David Hendrix and wife Tina, Sheldon Hendrix, and Phillip Hendrix, all of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Angela Hendrix; and Angela's child, Linda's great-granddaughter.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Graveside Service will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

April Dawn Rice was born on April 26, 1971, to her parents, Dan and Rhonda (Hampton) Rice. She entered into eternal rest on April 30, 2026, returning to the loving arms of the Lord and reuniting with her mother, Rhonda; her grandparents; and many other cherished family members in the joy of everlasting life.

She is survived by her father, Dan (Kathy) Rice; her siblings, Tiffany (Kevin) Winter and Josh (Alyssia) Rice; and her children, Torrie (Jonathan) Atteberry, Ashton (Betty) Chadd, and Hunter Chadd, 8 grandchildren, Hayden, Baylee, Lily, Lilly, Braison, Keeghan, Aryiah, and Willow, along with many other beloved family members and friends.

April was a fighter throughout her life. Life throws many things at people that often seem insurmountable - but today, her life is celebrated in the victory she has found. She deeply loved her children, her parents, her siblings, and, above all, her Savior.

Diane Bolton, of Dexter, Missouri was born to the late Frank and Lily Bolton on December 31, 1955, in Winnie, Texas, and passed away on April 12, 2026, in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 70.

Born and raised in Winnie, Texas, Diane moved to the Dexter area 3 years prior to her passing. She had a deep love for all things leather and was known by her family to be a very strong, independent and fiercely loving person. Diane enjoyed doing word puzzles and would never be caught out of the house without several pieces of jewelry on. Winnie Fontenot and Diane were together since 1961 and were known to cause trouble everywhere they went.

Diane is survived by her children, Abby (Darold Bowen) Berks, of Dexter, Missouri, Jimmi (Renae) Silcox, of Wappapello, Missouri, Brittany Nye, of Alabama, 7 grandchildren, Anara, Makala, Mashayla, Malaysia, Maclary, Matonia, and Matavia, and her twin sister, Maryann.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

Jay D Rodgers, of Dexter, Missouri, was born on May 17, 1966 to JA Rodgers and Linda (Frazier) Newell in Malden, Missouri and passed away on April 12, 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 59.
On March 25, 1989, Jay and Tiska Buskey were united in marriage in Dexter, Missouri and were happily married for 37 years and she survives of the home.
Jay had been a resident of Southeast Missouri for the entirety of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Jay loved his family, enjoyed playing pool with his friends, working on model cars and woodworking.
Surviving family include his loving wife, Tiska Rodgers, of Dexter, Missouri, three children, Jay Wesly (Cara Mchugh) Rodgers, of St. Louis, Missouri, Benjamin Andrew (Cory) Rodgers, of Dexter, Missouri and Jon Samuel (Kaitlyn) Rodgers, of Jackson, Missouri, his father, JA Rodgers, of Dexter, Missouri, stepfather, David Newell, of Perryville, Missouri, four siblings, Danny (Penny) Rodgers, of Imperial, Missouri, Glen (Melissa) Rodgers, of Dexter, Missouri, Glenda (Bill) McCoy, of Sikeston, Missouri and Carrie (Brandon) Chappell, of Dexter, Missouri, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Newell.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri, beginning at 10 A.M. The funeral will follow at 11:30 A.M.
